November 10, 20169 yr Stephen A. Smith dismantled Colin Kaepernick yesterday after the controversial San Francisco QB failed to vote: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zM38Phpz_UE
November 10, 20169 yr I say "Hooray for that statement by Stephen A.". Seldom do we agree but on this we do. Same thing goes for former Presidents who did not vote. I don't care who they voted for but to not have confidence in a system that you benefited from so much, and not cast a vote for any of the four or to write in one, was a slap in the face of every American who fought and or died defending freedom. My Mother always said if you don't vote then you don't get to complain. This Kaepernick display has caused me to give up a sport that my family will tell you I love. Picking the most game winners on Sunday mornings with our sons since the '70s. Been watching since before the Bengals were a team but I cannot watch and my family knows why, they come in and my TV is off. Dang no Thanksgiving Day football either. One trade off, Papaw and I have more quality Sundays. :thumb:
November 10, 20169 yr My whole mental value thinking is based on Stephan A. Smith. Why would anyone care? Unless you agree with him then he is a genius. He is a talking head that's all.

November 12, 20169 yr I am not sure which matters less to me...whether CK voted or what Stephen A. thinks about it...and I normally agree with Stephen A....certainly not always though. I never understand why people get worked up about whether people vote or not. It is their business. I always do vote and try to stay up on the issues. Frankly, if someone chooses not to stay up on the issues, I would prefer they not vote.

Maybe he voted for Johnson or maybe he just didn't like anyone running. I heard he definitely voted though. Any other president just not vote?

I heard he definitely voted though. Any other president just not vote? Earlier in September both Bush Presidents said they were not going to vote for any candidate. However, for sure George W. did not vote for anyone for President, he did vote on other ballot issues. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend say George H.W. Bush said he was voting for Hillary and did vote on down ballot offices and issues, I'm not convinced he voted for Hillary. I have not read anywhere that he did. It is a hard fact to dig out and I've been digging since Tuesday. I'll keep looking.
November 14, 20169 yr I can't say much. I voted but abstained in the presidential race. Same.Hand raised.
November 14, 20169 yr No surprise here. About a month ago he spoke out on his disgust for both Hillary and Trump. It made national news when he said it. I'm surprised this is even an issue but Stephen A is going to Stephen A.

He obviously has little in common with her politically and probably Trump just scared the heck out of him, right or wrong. Just voting to vote is wrong. if you don't know the issues or like the policies of the candidates, I see nothing wrong with abstaining on a certain issue or race.
