Your vote in Kentucky, and many other states, doesn't matter as long as the Electoral College is in existence. No one should ever win an election when they didn't have the most votes.

In theory, the percentage of electoral votes just mirrors the percentage of total votes...just a smaller number. The big problem is rounding. The votes would never get split evenly unless you count fractional votes.
