In the first 100 days. I am taking him at his word that it will be built. I imaging some of those good ol Texas ranchers are gonna love the government on their land. Imminent domain can get that done. I just feel he needs to get started soon so he can prove he was telling it like it is and being transparent.

 

I would expect the Mexican government will put their initial payment down in theta period, also.

I don't see how the government is going to be on the Texas ranchers land any more than they already are. First of all the U.S. Border Patrol is already on their land via trucks and ATV all hours of the night as it is. Secondly there is a decent easement that the government owns between the actual border and private property as it is. And finally if most Texas ranchers are anything like my family they would welcome anything the government does to secure the border. They are tired of having their homes broken into, vehicles stolen, property destroyed, etc. by those who cross into this country illegally.

I am pretty sure that those good ole Texas ranchers would easily prefer seeing construction workers building a wall over hordes of illegal aliens trashing their property.
