Stop trying to purge people from the voting rolls for reasons like not voting in the past few elections.

Allow people to register and vote on the same day.

Expand the number of early voting days and sites.

Allow online voter registration.

Stop allowing partisan activists to challenge individuals' voter eligibility.

This all sounds good, but I can't take credit.

And by the way, the original premise that voter suppression is much more prevalent than voter fraud?

Absolutely.

Trump noted that everyone is changing their clocks and setting them back an hour, giving people an extra hour to vote. He says this is proof that the whole thing is rigged and crooked hilliary can even get the clock stopped.

How about every one vote Trump if he doesn't win we know it is rigged.

Everyone who is a citizen should be able to vote, felon or not.

We have to have voter ID though, and both parties should work to get that done, not just in Presidential election years

I can't disagree.

NC courts ruled this weekend that something like 6k names had to be restored to the voter rolls. A private group had initially gotten them removed due to mail being returned.

This didn't happen anywhere in the Florida, that I know of. As I said in another thread, I voted on Friday. No lines.

This is how it worked ...

Early voting started on October 24th.

In most counties, especially the most populated, the early voting locations are in public libraries.

When you get or renew your drivers license or state ID card (for those that don't drive), you register to vote. Your drivers license or ID card is all you need to vote. You can still register if your drivers license was issued prior to the change in the registration law (I don't know when that was. I renewed mine a few years ago and had to register, then).

Curiously, although the deadline for registration for this election was October 18, there were registration forms at each check-in computer terminal at the early voting location I voted at (Upper Tampa Bay Public Library).

There are 4,000 people in a half-mile voting line in Cincinnati today. This isn’t okay. - Vox

These stories are all over the nation.

Honestly, if I had to wait for hours in line, I probably would stay home.

What can we do to help voters cast their vote?

Philadelphia is in the middle of a strike by all public transportation workers. That's going to throw a kink in the election if it doesn't get worked out by tomorrow.

It's done. Settled this morning.

Just saw that. I lived through a couple SEPTA strikes while I lived in Southeast PA/Philly, and they are crippling to the city. Can't imagine how it would have affected elections.

I wonder which side gained the most using the election as leverage.

Voter suppression absolutely equals voter fraud.

No question. Just on an epic scale.
