This Senior Class at Belfry has already been the most successful class in school history and they have the opportunity now with their final playoff run to add to that and enter the realm of the elite.

I am not going to name individuals, rather I want to give the whole class a shout out and encourage them to give it all they have the next 5 weeks and leave it all on the field. You guys have been a pleasure to watch and you have set the bar very high for all future Pirates. From one old Pirate, thank you!

GREAT RUN Pirates!

Enjoy these playoffs!!!

Belfry is going to have a very good team next year... might even still be able to contend for a Title before it is all said and done... but man alive those Seniors are going to be hard to replace.

What those number's don't show is the fact that a large number of these Seniors not only played since they were Freshman, but started AND starred as Freshman. The number of 3 and 4 year starters on this team in ridiculous.

The Five losses were to Johnson Central (2x), Cabell Midland , Pikeville , and Knoxville Catholic

Thanks to Belfry's wi over JC on Friday and their win against Cabell Midland earlier this year it means that as of now these Seniors will also most likely leave without a losing record against a specific opponent. Obviously if they lose to someone not named LexCath or Central in the Finals that would change that

Very impressive.

They have to win a few games to have more wins than the 2015 seniors.

That class was 53-7 over 4 years. They were the last class to lose to a 3A team, 12-6 in OT to Central in the 2012 finals.

Has Kentucky offered Horton? If he was 3 inches taller I bet he has way more offers than he does

No they haven't and you are right, the biggest strike against him is his height. Despite finishing top 5 in The Opening Columbus combine, he has yet to get a power 5 offer. I think he will end up at a WKU type program.

He has offers from Ball St, Toledo, WKU, EKU, FAU, Tenn Tech, Morehead and maybe a couple others. UK and UL have shown some interest but no offers.

No Marshall? WVU? The kid is a player regardless of his height.

Marshall has shown interest, but no offer from them either.

Missed opportunity for the Herd and others it seems.

Horton is simply a beast. A lot of programs are going to regret not recruiting this kid.
