First half of this game was one of the most thorough beat downs I've ever watched.

 

44-0 at halftime and I think they had one first down at that point. Bore almost no resemblance to the team that nearly took down Clemson the week before. Tough to bring it so far above your level two weeks in a row.

 

Jackson's passing was miles better than last week.

 

Really solid performance by the defense and I was especially encouraged by the game Jonathan Greenard had after stepping in for the injured Devonte Fields.

I echo @Getslow 's post but want to add two points. I thought Lamar's first touchdown pass was great, but that bullet to Staples in the end zone, oh my.

@TheDeuce like I said last week I really hope your dude wins. I don't have to hope anymore. I still wish he played some better teams down the stretch, but UofL is the second best team in the country right now and honestly they scare me more than Bama does. Bama is better, but UofL can put a game out of reach in the 1st quarter. That's scary. I hope I don't jinx them, but somehow, someway UofL will be in the playoff.

No doubt. But when you have an offense that can end the game in the first quarter that is scary. I don't envy much as an Ohio State fan, but UofL's offense makes me extremely envious right now.

UofL deserves to be in as of right now. Now doubt they are top 4 and I would make them the favorite on a neutral field over anyone not coached by Nick Saban.

 

Now if they drop another I don't think they deserve to be in but I feel like a 1 loss UofL is much better than the PAC 10 Champ.

 

In a side note I get sick thinking about what UofL will do to U.K. It being UofL's last chance to make a statement before the playoff decisions and Jackson's last shot to prove he is the Heisman Winner.
