I think Ryle has done what many of us expected them to do last year. Just a year later. Ryle was expected to run the table in NKY in 2015 so with about the same team returning this year it is no surprise.

 

SK lost more than I think they want to admit on the defensive side of the ball and their season also doesn't surprise many who have been following NKY football the last several years. This year has pretty much played out as expected for me so far with the only surprise being how much Conner has improved.

I think if you go back and check last years preseason threads I think you will find most people were expecting Ryle to be a 6 and 4 team. Most everyone said they would lose to Cov. Cath. Lex. Cath. Highlands and S. K. It wasn't until they won their first 6 games people started noticing them.

NKY football is as good as Louisville football but we will see in the coming weeks. Ryle and Simon Kenton have the talent to beat anyone in the state

I have watched two SK games this year one against CAL in Louisville, the other against Cooper...SK looked tough in those games. The rest of the season I've been to the rest of T's games...I hate to talk bad about the school I graduated from but there is no way SK or Ryle would come close to beating T....

Nah, St. X or Male still have a shot at Trinity. The Shamrocks are favorites, but they'll still have to earn a victory over either of those teams.

I was up in the press box, if it was done, done inadvertently. It was soooo loud at the game, you couldn't hear anything up there. Kind of like listening to music on headphones. Can't hear what's going on around you. I doubt the players could hear it. There were complaints that the crowd couldn't even beat the National Anthem. The PA speakers were up as high as they could go, still not loud enough.
