True Blue, can you tell us more about Mr. Gold?

Alec Gold transferred into PT from Anna Jonesboro Illinois this year due to his dad being relocated as I understand it.

He has averaged 125 yards per game and although those may not seem like over the top numbers, he is a very impressive runner with how he gets yards. He is a great combination of speed and shiftiness that also knows when to put his head down and deliver the blow for a couple extra yards.

He is the type of kid that also likes to deliver blocks in passing situations.

Often you will see him get hit in the backfield and think he is going no where only to see him fight for 6 yards.

If you get a chance to see him you will understand he is a hard working young man that doesn't mind fighting for that extra yard.
