Well, clearly Boone Co. got some things fixed in the last 13 days. Good to see them bounce back (apparently) with a good effort against (what I believe) is a pretty good team.

Maybe Scott Co. is not that bad. Maybe Highlands and Cov Cath are just THAT good!

I would imagine Farris makes a huge difference to BC's team.

If the best that Scott Co can do is a 5 point win against a pathetic NKY 4A team their in for a long season.

Boone's bread and butter is Farris, with him they are a much better team. You don't lose a 1,500 yard back and improve.

No , he's back . He looked good tonight against SC ! He looked alittle winded some at times . But in a week or two, he'll be back to normal ! :scared:

No, just giving NKY a bit of credit, he's a very good back, they still lose to CCH but he makes a huge difference in the scheme of things.

He had 252 yards against SC. Are you saying he'll be BETTER in a couple of weeks?

My opinion from watching the game...

 

#4 for Boone is pretty good.

 

Scott Co. took advantage in the 3rd quarter of Boone Co.'s poor tackling and poor run fits. SC running backs got through creases that were poorly filled by Boone LB's.

 

Once Boone got down (31-14 I believe) they started to throw the ball some. The arm on the QB #11, was pretty good as far as velocity, but you could tell they don't work on that part of thier offense much. It took him about 5-6 throws to warm up. After that, he was much more accurate, and they were able to take advantage of Scott Co.'s poor coverage.

 

Boone should have onside kicked after scoring thier last touchdown. They took thier second time out to set up the failed two point conversion, and had only one left. Thier D was not going to stop Scott Co. from getting a first down.

 

IMO, had Boone sprinkled in the passing game more in the first half, their QB wouldn't have had the wasted throws in the 4th quarter, and thier chances of winning would have been much better.
