Knights Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Great job Knights! Great defense played tonight.
WestDanville Posted October 15, 2016 Author Posted October 15, 2016 A competitive 1st half with A 13-7 halftime score blows up after 4 Boyle INTs in the 2nd half including back to back pick sixes. LC earned this win and made all the plays they had to make plus played outstanding defense. Congrats to the Knights and hope to see you all in the playoffs.
WestDanville Posted October 15, 2016 Author Posted October 15, 2016 I'll go ahead and say what the Rebel faithful doesn't want to but Mark Perry owns Chuck Smith right now. Game after game Perry makes the necessary adjustments to find the weaknesses in the Boyle defense and defensively Catholic finds a way to shut down the Boyle Offense.

Game after game Perry makes the necessary adjustments to find the weaknesses in the Boyle defense and defensively Catholic finds a way to shut down the Boyle Offense. It's hard to argue with this statement and I hate to admit it. Chuck Smith has yet to defeat Mark Perry since he returned to Boyle County. This. Sucks.
PurplePride92 Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 On the bright side Boyle County will be a better team next year.
WestDanville Posted October 15, 2016 Author Posted October 15, 2016 On the bright side Boyle County will be a better team next year. This is true. The players who made the plays for Boyle on both sides of the ball were mostly freshman and sophomores. Reese Smith and Landen Bartleson both had good games. Catholic had some good young guys too. Going to be a fun next 3 years
Watusi Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Before the turnover bug hit Boyle, were they able to move the ball on LexCath? The halftime score indicated a pretty even game, was that the case on the field?
Rebelstat Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 @Watusi Boyle could run the ball but hurt themselves with penalties or then tried to pass it couldn't.
Rebelstat Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Will have some stats when I get home. Lex. Cath 286 yards total Boyle 276 yards total.
Rebelstat Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Catholic at 2 ints returned for TDs and was on Boyle's end of the field all night. That is the reason for them having that low of yardage.
PurplePride92 Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Will have some stats when I get home. Lex. Cath 286 yards total Boyle 276 yards total. Ridiculous.
WestDanville Posted October 15, 2016 Author Posted October 15, 2016 Before the turnover bug hit Boyle, were they able to move the ball on LexCath? The halftime score indicated a pretty even game, was that the case on the field? in the first quarter Boyle was moving the ball at will by way of the run game but would get behind the chains due to a penalty or incomplete pass or they would throw an int. Lex Cath had fantastic field position all night. They started every drive in Boyle territory except for 2. Boyle did a good job defensively but the constant short field ended up catching up to them. Boyle and LC exchanged 2 INT's in the first half but the field position favored LC. Both of Boyle's ints came at their own 2 and 4 yard line leaving them 90+ yards to go. Catholics ints were inside the Boyle 40. At the half I thought Boyle was pretty a pretty even team with LC.
