And let's talk about grooming young kids, look at what LexCath replaced from its team from 2015. 3 Senior OL, 2 RB's, all 4 starting WR, and QB. Then on Defense we replaced key starters on that side too, not to mention two of the starters from this season to surgery in game 1. So just hold this "L" and keep trying to convince the great folks in Danville that the calvary is coming. When you've lost 7 out of the last 8 matchups my hopes were that you would've gotten the message by now.

 

So those 20 min lectures in the rain after the game don't change anything.

@LEX you're right in the statement that Mark Perry owns Chuck Smith. I hate to admit that but the results on the field prove that. The pride at Boyle is plentiful so it will be hard for many to admit that but it's the ugly truth. BUT Smiths history and track record of 5 state titles are what gives Boyle faith that this ugly truth can be overcome and they can see the pieces being put in place by grooming these young talented freshmen. This blowout is an anomaly in this rivalry just like Boyle's big win back in 2010. It doesn't happen often and this game will be back to what we're used to seeing the next 3 years or so.

Minor correction, LC threw 2 INTs. Both were by Reese Smith and both inside the 5 yard line.

You weren't the target of the recruiting portion. Personally I have nothing but respect for Boyle County, lots of good people and good football over there.

 

Those freshman are very talented and while they may lead to more wins for Boyle down the line, LC has some talent coming up themselves, should be some great football games in the future. I don't see LexCath having a Highlands like fall anytime soon.
