All Justices uphold the Constitution. That is their job. Different Justices have different opinions on what the Constitution means/says.
October 9, 20169 yr I never know what "activist judge" means. It often means a judge that rules in a manner with which one does not agree. A common definition is a judge that brings personal belief rather than strict Constitution interpretation only into decisions. But again, one side howls "activist judge" when decisions don't go their way; then the other howls just as loudly when the shoe is on the other foot.

What would you take out of it or change? It is 2016. It will need to be 10,000 pages long to properly explain every Article. There are currently 15,000 different interpretations of the First Amendment. Every Amendment needs to be clear and precise in a day and age where every word is taken literally. Fortune 500 companies don't run on values from 1787. Why do we want our country ran that way? A lot has changed since then.
