It is late at night, you've been asleep for a while and your bladder wakes you up with Nature's call. So it is dark, you are half asleep, your aim is going to be questionable - the odds are against you doing this with any accuracy.

 

So what is your night-peeing strategy? Do you pee standing up (on either one leg or two) or do you sit down and take a leisurely whizz? And a follow up question is do you risk completely waking yourself up by turning on the bathroom light, or do you leave the light off?

Sitting down, light off. Sometimes may even dose back off while taking care of business.

In the middle of the night, I just sit. No weaving, no spillage, no fussy complaints from anyone else. And I am not turning on a light. I don't want my eyes to have to adjust back to the pitch dark for the walk back. Plus I don't want to see myself in the mirror sitting down to pee, LOL.

Sitting down, no lights. It's just easier. I have dosed off and woke up an hour later for the walk back to the bed.
