Your favorite/go to cracker?

Featured Replies

The salmon I smoked this weekend I brought some into work with crackers, and that got me to thinking about a favorite cracker (used whole wheat Ritz this time). There are tons of different crackers down the snack aisle and I will at times get 2-3 different types to take home when I am shopping.

So, what's your go to/favorite? Ritz? Townhouse? Triscuit? Plain old saltine? Does it depend on what you are doing/serving with it?

No dip - Chicken in a Biskit

Dip - Hint of Salt Wheat Thins

Ritz

Me too. Townhouse would be number #2.

However, this is all assuming that Cheeze-Its are in a different category, right?

Couldn't eat it all...smoked 2 good sized filets and just me and the girl friend eat it.

I meant taking it to work and smelling the place up. LOL Can't stand it.

Been opting for varieties made with Brown Rice flour instead of Wheat flour.

Healthier option found in the deli section at Kroger, and they're also really good.

Crunchmaster Multi-Seed Crackers

-Original

-Rosemary & Olive Oil

-Roasted Garlic

Crunchmaster Multi-Grain Crackers

-Sea Salt

-Roasted Vegetable

-White Ceddar

Triscuit now has a few flavors made with Brown Rice flour.

-Sweet Potato & Sea Salt

-Sweet Potato & Roasted Onion

-Sea Salt & Black Pepper

-Roasted Red Pepper & Red Bean

Also

Triscuit - Thin Crisps

- Sour Cream & Chive

- Wasabi & Soy Sauce

- Sweet Potato & Cinnamon Sugar

Also

"Nabisco Good Thins" with varieties made of either Potato, Rice, Chickpeas, Corn, or Oat.

I typically go for the Rice or the Chickpea varieties.

Depends what I'm eating it with:

Soup - Saltines

Beer cheese - Triscuits

Hard Cheese - Townhouse

Pepper Jack - Ritz

Just to munch on - Chez-it

This is my go to snack these days, they're not crackers though:
