September 22, 20169 yr Life's too short to get real worked up about this stuff. Presidents present and past should be afforded respect, though.
September 22, 20169 yr C for me. We should always have a level of public respect for our elected leader. B and A don't matter to me for a lot of reasons that I will not discuss out of respect for everyone's feelings about B and A. Neither action in B or A bothers me at all.
September 22, 20169 yr C- IMO a person earns respect. I do not respect any President. What have they really done. Without me making it a what has the current President and former Presidents done a political thing and make me get kicked off, just think about it. Can you really respect Bill Clinton after the Lewinsky ordeal? GW Bush and the Iraq War. I mean they dont get my respect, I cant see where America has gotten any better, its WORSE. Its especially WORSE on middle class America.

You get pulled over for speeding, do you show the officer respect, or does he have to earn it before you do? How about your boss? Do you show him/her respect, or does she have to do something to earn your respect?
September 22, 20169 yr A and B are the same. C. I'd never boo a president while being introduced. But I could see booing a comment he made. Meeting a president or past president is on my bucket list. Not a cooler person than one who has the chance to run the greatest country on the planet. Whether I liked his views or not.

The three POTUS of my lifetime (that I can remember) all seem like awesome people to sit down and have a couple beers with. The stories they could tell us, especially President Clinton!

If a cop pulls me over for speeding, its may fault, not his. I have respect for him doing that. I broke the law, not him. My Boss, yes I respect my boss because my boss shows me respect. He dont go behind my back and he dont make bad decisions for everyone.

The stories they could tell us, especially President Clinton! Yes Former President Clinton could tell you about all the times he flew with Jeffrey Epstein and had sex with all the underage girls. The only President I would like to meet is George Washington. Edited September 22, 20169 yr by mountain ref
September 22, 20169 yr So much for this thread. Way to go. It not a political thing, All Im doing is stating why I wouldnt want to meet Bill Clinton, I mean am I not allowed to say WHY? The topic is about respect and I am stating why I have no respect for them. Im not trying to go the political route, Im not mentioning anything about the current election or people now, Bill Clinton is a former. It has not one thing to do with politics, it has to do with his character.
September 22, 20169 yr Do the people who are not in favor of booing the president, change your stance if Donald Trump is our new president?
September 22, 20169 yr Option A I applaud if it's done for legitimate reason. Peaceful protest is what this country was founded on. Option B is disrespectful and I have a feeling a lot of people upset with Option A are in fact, Option B folks. Option C is definitely the most disrespectful. Respect the office.
