I agree. I watched them beat the snot out of FSU. They are the real deal. Great game to watch.

I over exaggerated a bit, but I think Clemson is still better, if they put it together. I don't necessarily think they will put it together and UofL clearly is hitting on all cylinders, but I'm speaking in hypotheticals here.

Absolutely they were. But when is the last time you saw a team put together a run like that for a whole season? Everyone has hiccups games. They may not lose that hiccup game, but every team has them. I think it is foolish to definitely say a team is "this" based on one game. Clemson is a very talented team with a VERY good QB who is being overlooked because of Lamar Jackson (rightfully so). No offense to UofL but Clemson has more talented players outside of Lamar Jackson and it's not like he is definitely better than Deshaun Watson either.

I think you have it backwards. I think Lamar was overlooked initially because of Watson. But that has turned around in swift fashion. 2 studs, no matter what.

He certainly has shown glimpses that he can be a heck of a weapon. I heard the announcers say Kiffin has never had this type of QB and has not yet really figured out the best way to use him. If true that could be real good news for Bama in the next few years.

I won't argue that point because I don't really know but the announcers of the game sure sounded like they were of the opinion Jackson is daylight ahead of everyone else.

Nobody is talking about Watson because they have been under-performing. If Jackson and Louisville beat a Troy by only six points I'm sure his talk will die down too.
