1. Beechwood's first possession after halftime, bad decision on trying to go for a fake punt by our punter tackled on the 25. Short field TD for CCH.

 

2. Second possession, second pass, pick 6 for CCH.

 

3. Third possession, first play, pass goes right through Beechwood receiver's hands into a CCH players hands for an interception on the 23-yard line. Short-field TD.

 

Three touchdowns on three mistakes by Beechwood. 30-10 ... Ballgame.

Exactly - no reason for "cloud 9" in Park Hills. Tons of work to do.

Overall I was happy with the way the Beechwood defense played, especially against the run. The defense needed to get more pressure on the quarterback. That is what hurt the defense in the second half as much as anything else. That and being on the field all night long because the offense was unable to do anything.

I'm already on record as saying I think the Beechies wore down in the second half. But if were pointing out the miscues that resulted in CovCath scores, both Beechwood touchdown came off special team breakdowns by CovCath. Other than those two plays, the Tigers would have been shut out.
