I have yet to drain my 7 plus battery during the day. i can't use it much while at work, so may not be the best judge of that, and often charge in the car, hook it to my car stereo's USB port to charge and listen to playlists.

I ordered my 7 Plus 128 gb 2 weeks ago and it isn't supposed to be here until the first week of November. My 6 has shot the dust and at this point I have to charge it to full at least twice a day. It sometimes dies at like 35% and won't come back on no matter how many times I try to hard reset it. Then I plug it in and it automatically restarts and turns back on to like 40%. It is so annoying. I heard the battery was great on the 7 plus and that's why I decided to get the 7 plus to begin with. Can someone who has the 7 plus already comment on the battery life?

 

I have just the 7, but the battery seems to be great. Before (Galaxy 5) my phone would be about 20% by the time I got home from work. I'd say my usage is pretty typical. Yesterday, with the same amount of usage, I ended up getting home an hour later than normal and still had 70% battery.

That's very reassuring, I almost think apple has a way to make the older model phones batteries go bad when they release a new phone. Ever since the 7 has been released my phone dies on me every day and I never had that issue prior to the release of the new phone.

Did you update to the new IOS? That's probably why.

Yeah. Most of the time when new updates come out like that, it will drain the batteries on older phones faster. At least that's been my experience.

Not the plus, but I got the clear Speck case for my 7.

 

I got the Jet Black phone because I liked the way it looked. No point in doing that if I'm going to put a case on it that covers up the color. Plus it was roughly half the cost, and has drop resistance up to 10 feet.

I thought I'd like the Jet Black, and then I saw it next to the Matte. I chose the Matte, I like it way better than I thought I would.

My 7 plus is arriving today. Finally.

 

I'm using a Caseology Titan case. Offers good protection without too much bulk.

 

I've used this with my other Iphones and they've done the job without adding too much bulk.

I chose Gold because that is the one that would be here the quickest. It will be in a case so I decided to just get the color that would be here the fastest. Glad Rose Gold is popular but I'd have gotten that one if it would be here tomorrow. :lol2:
