I agree! I saw it last weekend at The Kentucky and it is easily the best movie I've seen this year. I recommend it to anyone, and I'd be shocked if you didn't walk out of the theater with your sides hurting from laughing, your heart warmed, and a smile on your face.

Rented this the other night and loved it. The payoff was absolutely hysterical; I couldn't stop laughing. :lol:

Yep, outstanding movie and if you are into dvd commentaries, i HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend the commentary on that dvd.

Watched it the other night, loved it. Ms 02 has declared it her favorite movie of all time.

I've got it sitting on top of the T.V. still wrapped up, so I guess I need to open it up and watch it.

Never heard of it - is it out on DVD in the movie stores? I would rent if so! Don't get to the theaters much.

Little slow moving, until Grandpa comes up from downstairs and sees that there is chicken for dinner...again.

Then it was off to the races.

It is available on dvd, has been in stores for a month now or so. Shouldn't have a problem getting a copy. Yep the film does start kinda slow establishing all the characters. Once grandpa walks out and sees chicken, it really does take off from there. : )

I watched it tonight its ok...not great.

I just saw on CNN news where it won the Best Picture at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards last night. And it's also nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award Oscar.

When I saw it, I too thought it was a bit slow at first. I thought it was great. A lot of subtle humor. Watched it twice in case I missed anything the first time. All the oddball characters . Most people can relate to at least one of them.
