Nice showing by the baby Breds, and they had quite a few missed opportunities to put even more points on the board. This group has very nice size for a frosh team.....they will be fun to watch over the next couple of years.

 

Daylen Griffin is fun to watch, smallest kid on the field, but got a lot of giddy-up.

Need an explanation on a play..........I believe it was QB Paul Kremer on a fake hand-off running down the sideline when (I think it was) Caleb Jefferson, that laid what appeared from my vantage point on the hill behind the goal post, a perfectly legal bone-crushing hit. Kremer was able to go about 60 yards for the score, but a flag was thrown. While talking about the play with a few others we didn't see the Ref explain the call.

The official said his arm was to high near the helmet. In a freshman game I agree with the call. Easily both players can come away with an injury.

Daylen Griffin is fun to watch. I don't know why he doesn't run that ball a lot more.

Wow surprised by this one. Woodland won the NKY Football league last year. Does Scott have that many freshman playing up with varsity this year?
