Concerning the roughing call, it was the right call according to the rules. I watched the tape. The Highlands kid pushed the punter down for no reason. While it wasn't your typical roughing play, the refs were correct in the call.

So does that mean winning state or being able to beat NKY teams again?

 

 

If Highlands ever wants Lickert he will be in Ft Thomas before you can shake a stick. I have said for the past couple years these past 2 teams won't be your typical Birds teams. Starting next year and for sure the year after HHS will be back to what you're used to seeing. Nice win Camels...... Enjoy!

I can go back to check last years record and this years so far but I'm sure I'll find it to say they have beat Nky teams, just not all of them. As for winning state, even this year highlands has an uphill battle but are still contenders. How's CC looking the rest of the year?

I would say being the best in NKY and one of 3 favorites for the state title.

It just strengthens it. Give Lickert the talent and the player's will to win he will get himself a state championship somewhere. He is one of the next in line and would be safe to say top of the list.

I'm glad you acknowledged it as being down years, it kind of makes it less impressive beating HHS during these "down years".

Are you disagreeing that Highlands has run the scores up in the past for years? Just curious.

 

Is it running the score up when the JV comes in and the second half and was still better than the opposing varsity? We don't dress freshman in the regular season.

Wow Highlands already wants a new coach. This should end well.

 

Every program has a few but don't project that sample to say "Highlands" wants a new coach. Everyone who follows the program closely knew what was coming. I believe I heard the same comments last year. It is what it is.
