The penalties at the end were just the icing. The first half killed the birds. Penalties put them into passing situations twice. Start at first and goal the end with third and goal from the 20. Two interceptions in the end zone. No team can win like that.

This is Campbell County's second win in two seasons. I will hold off calling this a program defining win. A step in the right direction, yes.

Birds need to get past tonight. Take the game for what it is worth and learn you can't play sloppy and win ( get close though ). They have a much better team coming up next week. If they play sloppy again a last minute field goal won't be the outcome. That game will be over by halftime.

It sounds like last week every thing went right for the birds and this week everything went wrong. This same Camels team beat highlands in overtime as freshman.
