August 24, 201610 yr In full disclosure, I NEVER surf past "Varsity Blues" when I see it on. NEVER. This show will get a fair shake, but like many of you, I'd be going in with very low expectations.

August 24, 201610 yr I STILL watch FNL every single day on Pivot, channel 267 for Directv subscribers. 4-8pm and 9-11am M-F are when it comes on.
August 25, 201610 yr I don't have high expectations for this at all. I liked the movie when I was younger, but that's about it. Can't see this being anything remotely close to how good Friday Night Lights is.
August 29, 201610 yr I like Varsity Blues better than Friday Night Lights, when just comparing movies. The movie FNL wa just ok. The series was great, even when shortened last 3 seasons
