Georgetown College Player Dies

Featured Replies

Sad story. Dixie grad and current GC football player Colson Machlitt has died from a fall at a party this weekend.

Tough couple of years for the Dixie family.

Wow. That's awful.

Prayers to the family and the GC football team.

So sad...we all did dumb things in college, I hate when one of those dumb things claims a life. I feel so horribly for his family whose lives will never be the same.

Colson was and always will be: a fierce competitor, great leader/football player, friend to many, and a lot of fun to be around.

His sudden and unexpected passing is certainly sending shock waves through the Dixie Heights and Georgetown College communities.

He will be greatly missed by many. Please lift his family and close friends up in prayer in the days ahead!

Prayers sent for Matchlitt family, G'town and Dixie families from Dog house.

Sorry to hear of this, will keep his family and friends in our thoughts.

Sorry to hear, Prayers for his family and friends.

Very sad. Prayers to the family.

Tomorrow is promised to no one. Prayers to Machlitt family.

Colson was not only a great football player but an even better young man... The Dixie community can't catch a break....

That's brutal. GREATEST fear of a parent...my heart breaks for his family.
