Granted it only the 1st game, but if this is what we will see the rest of the season and things get better game by game, this is going to be a really fun ride.

I was surprised at the amount of people who thought this would be a good game. NewCath was underrated this preseason. I think the early season struggles from last year stuck around in the minds of folks coming in to this year.

After seeing what I did out of them last night, I agree with you.

NCC is better than Scott hands down. Good news for Scott is they will not see a team in 4a as good as NCC until the playoffs. Lots of work to do before then. A lot of people are ready to write this team off, in the words of Aaron Rodgers R-E-L-A-X! These Eagles will be ready for district play.

 

Side note from what I've seen the last two weeks, the Lloyd vs NCC game should be a classic!

I agree but don't forget Holy Cross is making some noise

Can't wait to see the Belfry-NCC game in a couple of weeks.

 

Now that's a horse of a different color. Belfry may be one of the top teams in the state regardless of class. Not saying NCC can't play with them, but they may be the best team NCC will see all year, including the playoffs.

I feel bad for Nelson Perrin. Nelson doesn't have much around him at all to work with.. In my opinion Scott is going to struggle a lot this year. NCC is much better than I thought they would be. Henschen and Co. are pretty darn good. NCC will put it on Cooper imo..

 

What is your reasoning behind thinking NCC will pour it on Cooper? Just curious. Do you think NCC is better than Highlands?
