Milwaukee continues to be a hotbed of racial unrest. This thread reminded me of this other thread from a couple years ago. Hot August summer in Milwaukee, social media, random attacks on whites.

I might be venturing out on a limb here, but I have a hard time imagining that school starting will have any effect on those who are currently rioting.

School, how about some good old fashioned parenting. Why are kids out in that mess in the first place? Kids should not be allowed to just hang out in the streets. If you don't have a destination with a purpose you don't leave the house. The streets are for travel and business. As a kid you don't travel and you don't own or work for a business. Total lack of parenting. This is what the generational breakdown of family values gets you. Guess who we can shoulder alot of that blame on.

Because many of those that are actively involved or standing around as onlookers are teenagers with nothing to do all day long. This is typical Milwaukee in late summertime. Similar to the Milwaukee State Fair riots. Social media during the day, planning their shenanigans at night.

The better question. Why aren't white people out protesting that white lives matter..... That's how dumb this has become.

The reason is if any white people started a protest even remotly called White Lives Matter they would be viewed the same as the KKK is viewed. BLM is as bad as the KKK in my eyes. It's a shame that there are so many that simply look for an excuse to riot and destroy property and hurt others and they all use racism as their reason to do what they do. It's just an excuse for the lazy uneducated thugs and they feel they can get away with it by hiding behind a cause.

I don't know what that number but there was something like 11 African Americans shot in Milwaukee and 4 murders this past weekend yet the only one they protest is the 1 where a thug carrying a weapon and running from the police is shot. Where are all the protests by BLM for those African Americans being shot and killed by other African Americans? Don't those black lives matter? Apparently not, which is why that entire movement is a joke and nothing more than a terrorist group.

Lack of education is a real problem in a lot of these inner cities where you see these problems. While I know that's not earth shattering news. The cycle of violence and unrest will continue until the folks involved in these activities realize how much theyre hurting themselves and their communities future when they act out like this.

If they did that then people would be educated, then they wouldn't have any supporters.

58.3% of black students in MPS graduate as of 2013. Couldn't find anything more recent.
