I must be tuning in at the wrong time. CNN seems pretty balanced to me. I believe viewer bias impacts people's opinions on the various media outlets as much as what the media actually does.

 

CNN is not balanced. Have you seen anything from Jake Tapper or Don Lemon?

CNN has lost all respect from myself in this election. You talk about slanted......News is not supposed to be like this. No wonder we have big problems.

 

And the worst thing? They dont even try to hide it. Thats how far we have fallen.

At a recent event CNN reporters and camera men were yelled and and chanted at " Do your Job!" "Tell the Truth!". The mainstream media is controlling too much of the narrative. Behind the scenes I would love to know the $$$ trail.

So are you saying the coverage is fair but us viewers are the problem? You don't truly believe what you just posted? If they are so fair in their reporting on CNN, then why have their ratings tanked so bad in the last six weeks? Viewers are choosing other channels to TRY to find fair reporting somewhere. Camerota and Cuomo are so biased in the mornings, I would throw my shoe through the TV but then Papaw would have me in the doghouse.? I can tell when things get really bad. Never in 48 years of marriage have I heard Papaw say anything to the TV, and he never tells anyone in person or on TV to " shut up". Well, the other night he stands up and shouts " SHUT UP". That's how bad it's getting..

Just think how many lives have probably been saved by the police killing that guy. And it would have probably been black people he would have killed or robbed.

I certainly see your point, but watching and listening to people that the media shows on tv doesn't always seem make your case.

 

A person can be a criminal but they are not viewed in that light by the people on tv.

 

I'm guessing there are folks who would feel like you, but they would never speak out. This is the type of environments that are extremely hard to police.
