What sport were you the worst at playing?

Featured Replies

Golf . Was pretty good at everything else. But this lefty can slice a ball so bad it might perform like a boomerang .

Golf

Guess you would call me a "natural athlete". I was at least pretty decent at anything I tried. Was probably most naturally gifted at football, but unfortunately I didn't have the "killer" mental instinct needed at that point in my life to get everything out of my ability. Was a decent high school basketball player that got a lot better 2-3 years after high school and if not for a back injury may have walked on to a Div I program (Murray State) after I got out of the service. My dad always thought baseball was my best sport, but I didn't like it and only played it a little bit in my younger days, got really involved in men's slow-pitch softball as an early teenager and was really good at that, gave it up in my late 30's after knee problems and some other issues and picked up golf. I didn't play golf as a youngster, as stated didn't pick that up till my late 30's and I just turned 50 earlier this spring. Had I started playing golf at the same time I had everything else as a youngster, I would have at some point gotten to a very very low, if not scratch handicap. Really need to start that game at an early age with good instruction, have pretty much taught myself to this point. With that said I am down to about a 12 handicap now but fighting a plateau and trying to get past it.

I only played baseball when I was 6 or 7, then quit and played again when I was 13. Played for the 3 years of Babe Ruth league.

Never played organized basketball.

Played one year of organized soccer when I was probably 7 or 8. No clue if I was any good.

Played football in 7th grade and again in 9th grade.

I'd say if I had to pick one it would be football. Was not very big, slow, not very strong.

I could not skate or hit a golf ball. Everyone always told me that I tried to hit it like a softball and that did not work.

And you're married? How'd you manage that?

much softer balls...

South of Albuquerque here we come.

Show's over. And all jokes aside, I really am afraid of balls hitting my face. Always have been.

I have no shame. My last season of baseball I was 0-13 with 13 K's....

I then broke my wrist, and took it as a sign from God to stick to the hardwood!

Mine absolutely HAS to be Water Polo.

I kept drowning my horse.
