Randy Parker Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Sept. 1 - vs. Charlotte Sept. 9 - at Syracuse Sept. 17 - vs. Florida State Sept. 24 - at Marshall Oct. 1 - at Clemson Oct. 14 - vs. Duke Oct. 22 - vs. NC State Oct. 29 - at Virginia Nov. 5 - at Boston College Nov. 12 - vs. Wake Forest Nov. 17 - at Houston Nov. 26 - vs. Kentucky I think the Cards go 9-3.
Getslow Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 First impression says 9-3. Cards drop the games against all three top 15 opponents but win the rest. Avoid Pitt, Miami, and UNC in the rotation with the Coastal. Could end up 8-4 if they drop the game at Marshall (really unfortunate placement on that schedule with a serious potential for the old "let-down, look-ahead"). Could go 10-2 if they get it together against Houston or one of the top dogs in the Atlantic.
TheDeuce Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Sept. 1 - vs. Charlotte W Sept. 9 - at Syracuse W Sept. 17 - vs. Florida State L Sept. 24 - at Marshall W Oct. 1 - at Clemson L Oct. 14 - vs. Duke W Oct. 22 - vs. NC State W Oct. 29 - at Virginia W Nov. 5 - at Boston College W Nov. 12 - vs. Wake Forest W Nov. 17 - at Houston W Nov. 26 - vs. Kentucky W I'm going 10-2. I'd love to believe they will get over the hump and beat FSU or Clemson, but until they do I can't pull the trigger. A loss at Houston also wouldn't surprise me, so 9-3 is a very real possibility, IMO. Anything less than 9 wins is a disappointment in my book.
LRCW Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 How many of you UofL fans are making the trip to Huntington, WV?
TheDeuce Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 How many of you UofL fans are making the trip to Huntington, WV? I've thought about it.
LRCW Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 I've thought about it. Let me know if you do. I don't have any tickets, but could work on some if any of you all are planning on making the trip. I'm sure tailgating wouldn't be a problem either.
MentschTrachtGottLacht Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 You know what I'm thinking. Ha...yes I do...and it is AGAIN incorrect.
ThrillVille Cardinal51 Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 I think best case 11-1, worst case 7-5. Gun to my head I'll call 10-2 with losses to Clemson and FSU. The games at Marshall and Syracuse make me nervous. I think they're going to be hungry for a rematch against Houston after last season.
75center Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 I think 9-3 with losses to FSU, Clemson and Houston. Would be surprised if anyone else sneaks up and gets them. 10-2 would be great if they can get Houston.
