July 25, 201610 yr Its not that they are IQ dumb , its just dumb to support crooked people . You can be smart in a lot of ways and still be a R ... or a D . Do you think the democrat national party tilted the system to nominate Hillary and not give Bernie a true , fair shot ? If you supported Bernie and now support Hillary maybe dumb is a poor word , maybe prostitute is more accurate ?
July 25, 201610 yr ^I don't think it's any different than one who supported Cruz, or Rubio, or Bush, etc. and are now stumping for Trump.
July 25, 201610 yr I'll never understand the desire by supporters of one party to paint the supporters of another party as dumb. I am not here to call anyone dumb, but if any Libs believed, while it was going on, that the Democrat Primary process was a legitimate contest and that there was no manipulation happening, then I will say that they were willfully ignorant.
July 25, 201610 yr ^I don't think it's any different than one who supported Cruz, or Rubio, or Bush, etc. and are now stumping for Trump. I understand what you are saying but I see a difference. Personal attacks happen all the time in campaigns and then the party comes together. Happened with Hillary and Obama. Trump took it far with Cruz and Bush that's why I have no problem with them personally not supporting him. But personal jabs are different from the party itself fixing the race.
July 25, 201610 yr The difference ? The R's had a legit nomination , the D's had a coronation . If you want to argue that considering the head of the DNC just got booted from the convention and hired by HRC campaign I guess you can but ... good luck with that .

I'm not going call people voting for Trump or Hillary dumb or stupid. I don't understand why people take this route when "trying to have a conversation about politics."
July 25, 201610 yr Author Im not calling anyone dumb per say. It dumbfounds me that anyone would stand for blatent corruption. That to me just means if you vote for the Ds you support that. Till both sides clean up their act we are in trouble. Is that better. Thats about as PC correct as I can do.
July 25, 201610 yr Or, the logical conclusion, that the D's platform most closely aligns with their own personal beliefs on the issues....
July 25, 201610 yr Yeah and that platform means about as much as promises to Bernie they were going to hold a real nomination process . The leader of the party, she helped rig the process . And that platform holds about as much weight as her public statements about fairness . But whatever helps ya sleep at night . Edited July 25, 201610 yr by Colonels_Wear_Blue Political Namecalling
July 25, 201610 yr It's the nature of politics these days. It's the nature of a lot of things. "You don't agree with me? Well then you must be an idiot! Only (whatever party/organization you're affiliated with) knows anything!"
July 25, 201610 yr I'll never understand the desire by supporters of one party to paint the supporters of another party as dumb. With you 100% on this. What's more, we here on BGP have the ability to respect each other and actually talk about the issues, instead of insult "the other side" and fish for pats on the back. We don't have to agree with each other but it sure would be nice to be civil.
July 25, 201610 yr Does a nationwide poll have any real meaning at all? Polls from about 10 states are all that really matter, right?
July 25, 201610 yr Does a nationwide poll have any real meaning at all? Polls from about 10 states are all that really matter, right? .CBS Poll: Trump Gains on Clinton After the Convention I'm not sure I comprehend why, but here you go.
July 25, 201610 yr Why don't we wait til the democrats get favorable news before reporting any positive news about Trump ? Why WHY WHY ? LOL Gosh I hope he wins . And everyone that cant handle it can move to France Or Turkey or some Stan some where . Wouldn't you want the most accurate poll available? Polls that come out right after big news, positive or negative, tend not to be too telling. I would rather have both conventions complete, then wait a week or so to see where they settle. Not that any poll is going to mean much until mid to late October, maybe even later this cycle.
July 25, 201610 yr Not the point. I'm not going call people voting for Trump or Hillary dumb or stupid. I don't understand why people take this route when "trying to have a conversation about politics." I've been saying this for 2 months. We are free to vote. Good post.
