This whole open bathroom thing is stupid

Confession time: College days---Summerfest in Milwaukee. Line was 30 deep for the ladies room. No line in the men's room. 4 of us made a run for the men's room. We covered for each other and we were super fast.
Ditto, though at a different venue.

Ever been to a concert at Riverbend? Seen it dozens of times over the years there and at bars around the area.

Must be a younger generation thing for it to happen that much. Went to a lot of concerts, can't think of one time I've seen it. Then again, maybe it was timing. :idunno:

Yeah, right.

But are you really saying that it is silly that our parents taught us that boys should go to the boys bathroom and girls should go to the girls bathroom?

I wasn't necessarily referring to that specifically. Speaking more generally.

I guess some parents did a better job than others of teaching their kids what is right and wrong.

Some do. Mine certainly did. Of course, what is "right" for one set of parents may not be right for another. We can debate all day about what's right.

I'm with you. If I saw a female in a men's restroom, I wouldn't spend a second concerning myself about it. Probably wouldn't give it a second thought. I'm not in there to be a bathroom pundit or to take a survey on what type of people are there.

In your opinion, what is the purpose of separate restrooms for men and women?

From what I've heard from my wife most women's restrooms are nasty. So for the sake of men I'm guessing they want to have at least one clean restroom.

When I had hair I used to visit the salon located in the Crestview Hills McCalpins. One day I had to really go to the potty and unknowingly entered the women's room. I did notice an absurd amount of stalls but didn't think anything of it. While I did my business I heard some clicks on the tile and they didn't sound like anything I had heard in a man's restroom. At that point I realized why so many stalls were present.

Yeah. Good call. Every concert I've been to, the toilet seats were not lifted as the men sprinkled.

Saw a woman in a mans bathroom. Also saw her with cuffs on as the officer walked her out.

Incredibly frequent at concerts and bars. Talk to you kids, man.

No line for the men, because we'd just go over and use the lake or relieve behind the Peaches Rock Stage.

OK so would your parents teach you that boysgo to the boys bathroom and the girls go to the girls bathroom?

If they did and I told you that they were silly for doing it what would you think?

Like I said, seems things changed. I went to a lot of concerts and frequented bars, never seen it happen unless by accident. Don't really care either way, if the ladies have to go badly enough, I understand. As for transgenders using women's bathrooms, I fully understand peoples concerns.
