theguru Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 The other thread got me thinking. Snakes are highly evolved and diverse parts of every warm ecosystem. What would happen if there were no more snakes?
spindoc Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Well, with all due respect, snakes aren't highly evolved ( in my humble opinion anyway). And I'd be tickled if they'd just go away. As for the mice, we can all set a mousetrap.

spindoc Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Snakes aren't the villians they're made out to be in an ecosystem. They occupy a very important niche. I just don't like them.
HammerTime Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 The world would be a better place. We could take all the cats off of cat island and spread them around and the mice problem is gone. Problem solved.
formerkywrestler Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Most likely we would have rampant rodent-borne diseases.
spindoc Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Snakes are like guns. They look menacing. It's important to recognize the dangerous end.

MJAlltheWay24 Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Are Pythons still destroying the ecosystems down in the Evergaldes?
