Those polls were collected at what should be the darkest days of the HRC campaign. You have to imagine new polls will give her a bump with Bernie and Obama endorsements.

As we expected Bernie's supporters are not happy.

 

I have a couple of friends on Facebook that weren't very happy. Will be interesting to see if they end up favoring Hillary or not in the fall, but if they were to vote today, I doubt she'd get their vote.

Bernie was interviewed on GMA this morning. When given a chance to speak he went on about how we have to stop Trump. He didn't say anything about why he was for HRC and not just against Trump until Stephanopolous pointed this out. It was funny.

Bernie doesn't support Hillary he just hates Trump. He knows the level of shame involved in supporting the most corrupt politician in American history. Similar to me and others, we know Trump isn't the best candidate but he isn't Hillary.

It really doesn't matter either way. KY will be Republican by a wide margin as always. So I don't know who you would vote for but it won't matter because we know what Ky will be before we even vote. Having this stupid electoral college system it prevents every vote from truly counting.

That's one of the fun results of contested primaries. We get to hear the opposition trot out insults made against the contenders by those in their own parties.

Question: How long has Kentucky been voting Republican in Presidential elections? My impression is that it was solidly blue until recently, like as in until the incredible growth experienced in NKY through the 1990's. It seemed to me that most counties were blue except NKY and a few other places.

That is a great question and I don't know. I just know when you look at the votes it's not even close. Even people running for president know Kentucky will be a Republican state. Over probably 30 states in America people already know what that state will be. So votes really don't matter. If they want all votes to matter, they need to do away with the electoral college and just go with the popular vote.

Pretty much since the 50's. Clinton won twice and there have been a couple others as JFK and Carter also won I believe.
