"she is NOT qualified to be president" I guess he just simply changed his mind . Or he could be , just maybe , hypothetically speaking .. just another political hack who only cares about party politics . Being a laughing stock should disqualify one from running anyway .

That's one of the fun results of contested primaries. We get to hear the opposition trot out insults made against the contenders by those in their own parties.

What a resounding endorsement!

With Sanders(and a large majority of Bernie-ites )on board, her lead should continue to widen, stretching to double digits by the end of Philly.

Rassmussen Poll released Friday has Trump with a 2 point lead nationally

Other poll's shows trump up 5 in Florida and 2 in Iowa. While Clinton leads by 5 in Nevada.

All were polls released since July 8th.

I expect Clinton to come out of the convention close (up or down a few points) nationally, but with a comfortable lead in the projected Electoral College.

Always been that way. How soon we forget George H Bush calling Reagan's economic ideas as: "Voodoo Economics." Then he was named VP. :lol2:

Those polls were collected at what should be the darkest days of the HRC campaign. You have to imagine new polls will give her a bump with Bernie and Obama endorsements.

True, but Obama had already endorsed her publicly, before these polls...did that really give a boost when everyone already knew that he would?

Even Sanders endorsement isn't or shouldn't be a surprise, it may have more of an impact that Obama endorsement as a few of his hard core supporters may finally relent and support Hillary.

Trump and Clinton will both get a bump from their conventions, from then on it's a drag race to the finish. Barring a huge gaff from either (and I'm not assuming either will be gaffless) I think the race will remain relatively close but she will be the first to 270.

I may not vote this election.

As we expected Bernie's supporters are not happy.

The Bernie Bros appear to be out in full force on Twitter. Yikes.

Could the Bernie Endorsement have a net negative effect for HRC?

Will it hurt Bernie's reelection in his own state?

They'll get over it. They always do.

Can't see it having much effect for either one.
