List of United States presidential election results by state - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia That is a great question and I don't know. I just know when you look at the votes it's not even close. Even people running for president know Kentucky will be a Republican state. Over probably 30 states in America people already know what that state will be. So votes really don't matter. If they want all votes to matter, they need to do away with the electoral college and just go with the popular vote.
