Yesterday the FBI director essentially gave the Trump campaign some fodder for months, but today we wake up to Trump making a crazy statement praising Saddam Hussein.

 

I thought his new campaign advisers would have a better hold on him.

Not sure HRC fans follow his tweets? Just gives the other side fuel to throw on the fire. That's why I hate the 2 party system. If you only follow one, you only hear the distorted news about the other.

I'm sorry but I'm honestly sick and tired of everyone in America being offended by anything and everything.

 

I honestly have not been offended by anything in so long I couldn't tell you when or what it was.

 

I guess if you keep looking and hoping you eventually will find something that offends you. Hard way to live but I guess if your always looking to blame someone else it becomes easy after a while.

The U.S. Did help Saddam gain power and he did keep terrorist contained, as did Gadaffi. So The we have W come in and screw up Iraq and Obama took care of the rest of the screwed up M.E. like Libya, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Syria.

But biggest screwup was Obama and his cronies supporting the Arab Spring and now we have migrants everywhere. Also his continued support for the terrorist group Muslim Brotherhood.

Agreed. The problem is that the majority of American's get their news from 10 - 15 second clips and don't have the capacity or background to understand "why" a statement like that is true. It's the underinformed voter in America.....everything has to be dumbed down....

 

Assuming the average voter understands an analogy is a great misstep on his part.

In terms of the truth behind Trump's statements; there is something to be said for the principle. It was after Communism fell that old sectarian rivalries came to a boil in the former Yugoslavia. The dictatorship kept them at bay all those years. Similarly true with some of the former Soviet satellites and all the Stans now being independent of Russia.

Shortly after American independence we had the Civil War. Seems like the end of oppression creates violence.

Could someone post his comments about Saddam Hussein that were referenced in the initial post?

 

I don't follow him on Twitter, but looked to see if I could find something, and didn't see anything.
