Huh? Thunder were better than the Warriors? Warriors have been in the last two finals winning one and coming within one game of going back to back AND having the best regular season ever last year. The Thunder came very close to beating GS in the playoffs but did not. No way you can say they are better. Finished behind GS in the regular season and in the playoffs the last two years.

 

SAS is killing Durant not for leaving BUT for going to GS. If I am Durant, I tell anyone criticizing him to stick it. He has earned the right to go where he wants. He is a great player and by all account a good dude. He likes the guys on GS, gets to play for Kerr, who by all accounts is a very good coach and gets to play for a very good organization and a team that will be moving to a new arena. He has been in the league 9 years with OKC and has won exactly zero rings. I don't blame him a bit for going to GS. I wish he would have went to the Celtics though!

I like them both. Fact is that until Lebron went to Miami his team wasn't built to beat a team from the West. The Thunder were one game away from dethroning the Warriors. Lebron's team couldn't win one game in the Finals. Huge difference in my eyes.

Incorrect. Cleveland had not made the Finals two years in a row when he left. It had only made it once, a few years before he left. KD is leaving an infinitely better situation that LeBron left.

I've been on the record as saying this will change Golden state. KD isn't going to suddenly change his game. Still the favorites, but KD isn't going to play Barnes role. More Iso ball, less movement.

I always said KD/Westbrook would never win a title, but I was ready to take back that statement. Thought they were setup well for a run.

I agree. I thought their pickups from the Ibaka deal were enough to push them over. Wish they somehow could have dealt for Mike Conley
