June 30, 201610 yr I was trying to teach Junior Parker how to whistle the other day, but she just can't get it yet. Conversely, she can do something like roll her R's, but I can't do that at all. What's a simple skill that you just do not have?
June 30, 201610 yr I can't make myself burp. Only happens involuntarily. This has led to many uncomfortable situations to the point I have had to puke a few times.

June 30, 201610 yr That's pretty crazy, bugs. Typically as I eat it will just happen, but on the occasion it doesn't, I am miserable. We went to BW3s over the winter and I was forced to go to the bathroom and gag myself. Once I start I am fine thereafter. But that initial burp can't get arrive fast enough.
June 30, 201610 yr I can't whistle either. After this past weekend I'm beginning to think I can't coach basketball too...not sure that qualifies as "simple" though.:banghead:
June 30, 201610 yr Been told since first grade that I can't whisper...I hear this in my head, but everyone else hears this evidently. Ran in to my 1st and 2nd grade teacher a year or so ago and that was one of the first things she asked, "If I could whisper now"
June 30, 201610 yr I'm basically a self taught swimmer, but have never considered myself a very good swimmer. Adequate enough to get around in a pool, but if I were dumped in the river or perhaps the middle of a lake I think that I'd be in big trouble. Also, I've always been envious of those who can dive head first so naturally into a pool. I've never once done that and the fear of trying stifles me.
June 30, 201610 yr ^Was positive you were going to put "brevity" or something along those lines. :lol2:
