Because I do not know with 100 percent certainty and would not want to stir up any trouble. If this is actually true, the NCC folks should certainly be able to speak to the issue.

What do all 3 posters have in common? That should at least get you started. Perhaps someone from the hill can confirm. Certainly helps the Breds in my book.

I hear you, but you don't have to be 100% certain to ask a question. Maybe I am just old school, but I like the direct approach. I think a direct question like "Did Billy Halfback transfer to NewCath?" would stir up less trouble, and certainly less speculation than the cryptic "I heard NewCath got a transfer from a Campbell County school".

Or preface it by saying "This is only a rumor heard from a second hand source, but can anyone confirm Bubba Bob Bailey is transferring to NewCath?"

 

If there is no truth to the rumor it can be shot down and put to rest without any incident.

A question with no idea if it's ever been talked about before. I looked at NCC's schedule and don't see CCH. Is there any particular reason or is it just because it doesn't work? Especially with NCC's former coach there now. Seems like they should play every year

Well if so, all you can say is good luck to the young man on his new endeavor at NCC. Hope he makes an impact there for the Breds. I guess it opens up a spot for someone at Highlands to step up and fill a role.

Sutkamp is the only returning LB, I believe.

Drew Bravard was added to Newcath's roster on Max preps in June.

 

Drew is a fine young man. I played softball with his dad and my son played knothole with Drew for a couple years. I expected him to have a great year this year at Highlands. See no reason he won't have a great year at NCC.

That is like getting 2 players at a small school because your starters usually go both ways.

NewCath, unlike Beechwood, does have a nice contingency of talent returning. The Breds have a favorable Semi-State at hand as well, but the percentage remains low because of what will await them coming out of the West. Mayfield made an emphatic entrance to 2A and is absolutely loaded making them the team to beat. NewCath will enter in the mix with the impressive teams in the second tier chasing Mayfield, other teams such as DeSales, CAL, Danville, and OCath join them.
