He has been pretty good for periods of time. Interesting to note, he's from Cincinnati (Amelia HS in Batavia) and his wife is Allie LaForce, who is a CBS reporter.

August 1, 201610 yr This is an absolutely awful deal once again for the Reds. I don't do this deal without Nimmo or one of the SS's(Rosario or Cechhini) or both. This front office continues to set the Reds back further and further in contending

Hopefully Heyward can start pulling his weight with the bat and maybe our offense can heat back up. I'm just disappointed to see so many teams get better while we essentially stood pat.

He's not on prospect lists because he has too many MLB at bats.
