Jenna Martin Transferring To Highlands

Then why is she going there?

I pretty much gave you the two main reasons she chose to leave. Why she chose HHS as her landing spot, I'm with LA, ask her and her parents.

I don't care why she's coming. I'm saying that the HHS staff did NOTHING to influence it and every kid that comes to HHS does not come only for sports. They may play a sport and even be very good at it, but at the end of the day, there's not one kid (that I know) came because of sports only. Sports and acedemics combined, absolutely. But have never heard of anyone coming "just for sports". Sports, drama, band, dance, acedemic teams and offerings are all "attractions" at HHS. But if a kid is transferring to HHS, that is attraction is combined with education.

If it was sports only, why wouldn't she have just stayed at ND. With her there, I would pick them to be better than HHS this year! She chose to leave ND for her personal reasons and then chose HHS for her own reasons. She didn't leave a team that would be better than the one she was going to be on for sports reasons only.

I never said sports wasn't a factor, I'm saying it's not the only factor. That's just silly. Then why not go to Holmes and take a shot at winning it all! Or Mason county?? Because sports wasn't the only part of the decision!!!

Does this "Athlete" play any other Sports?

Maybe!!! Heard her dad was a VERY good fast pitch softball pitcher in his day. Traveled the country pitching. Considered one of the best!

It is so much easier when you just take pictures. Good luck to this talented young lady wherever she goes.

Ok if you say so, some may not but some do come for sports only and if you don't believe that then I don't know what to tell you.

I wish her the best but also feel for the her teammates at ND who have played with her sure she will be missed.

Actually just got word that she did indeed play softball and gave it up to concentrate on basketball. Also heard she was one of the better pitchers in the state at her age up until the 6th grade, but hasn't touched a ball since. Now that she's enrolled, guess who's ear I'm gonna be in!!!!! Wouldn't that be the icing on the "cake"! She hasn't played high school softball, so I assume eligibility in that sport wouldn't be an issue, right?

Cmon people. Give it a rest. RCC has been privy to EVERY conversation ever made, is in the know with everyone, is an expert on everything (just ask him!), knows what every kid and every parent is up to (except, of course, why Ms Martin chose HHS), has never been wrong (again, just ask him), and if he told us so, we should believe it!!! When are you going to learn?!!

Got it?! And the Emporer isn't wearing any clothes. Okay? justsayin

All or nothing re: eligibility.

Finally!!! Someone knows me! Thanks for the accolades!

But really I only speak on the ones that I do know about. Sorry to disappoint! I don't know EVERYTHING! C'mon man! That would be very difficult!

Why so bitter my man??? (Or woman)

All or nothing re: eligibility.

Got it! Well I guess all the coaches got some good news today then!

All or nothing re: eligibility.

Well shoot! I did! See, even I make mistakes! Lol! That was for justsayin!

Ask her or her parents. :idunno:

So the parents are making the decision? Not the 17-18 year old child? I would hope at this age she would have some thing to say about it?

We said ask her or her parents. I'm sure they both know. Doesn't mean she didn't make the decision. But as you know, I know the answer to that question too. Jenna made the decision. And no matter which one you ask, that will be your answer! Because in know! Lol!
