June 7, 201610 yr If I'm not mistaken Brock resigned with WWE in March 2015 on a 3 year deal. That's what I read. He's signed with WWE through 2018.
June 7, 201610 yr Brock Lesnar came into the UFC and took it by storm. He was a collegiate champion wrestler that had no experience in MMA that was easy to see in his first bout and loss to Frank Mir. But Lesnar was a beast and an athlete. It was just a matter of time that he would nearly unbeatable. What a freak of nature--the size and power that he possessed. Only his disease stopped him. After having a foot of colon removed in May 2011, he signed up to fight Overeem in December 2011. That's barely 7 months after having major surgery due to a life-threatening condition. There is no way Lesnar was recovered enough from that surgery to face Overeem. But he was a warrior and stepped into the octagon. Very early, Overeem tested him with a shot to the midsection. It HURT Lesnar who backed up to the cage and took a defensive position. Overeem finished him, but it wasn't Overeem as much as it was his disease and the ill-effects of the surgery. I really can't get excited about him entering the octagon again. He still is missing a foot of colon. What effect will a shot to the midsection have? He's also 38 and his time is past. Had he have been healthy, he may have gone undefeated for quite a while just due to his power and aggression. But now there is no point--except he wants to prove something to himself (and people will pay to see it). June 8, 201610 yr I've only purchased two UFC PPV in my life. One was with Lesnar. July 9 will be my third.
June 9, 201610 yr At least short term, wouldn't Lesner be the UFC's biggest draw? I think he still owns the most buys on a single UFC PPV. Like 3 or 4 of the top ten, and he did have first and second until Mcregor became popular so now he owns 1 and 4.

July 20, 201610 yr Author Brock Lesnar fails second drug test at UFC 200 I wonder what the WWE is going to do. And answering my question I doubt anything, I get the strong feeling that the WWE "Wellness Program" is pretty much a charade and part of the act.
