What social norm do you just not understand?

Random facial piercings.

Ears are fine. One per ear, OK maybe 2. Leave the rest of your helmet alone!

Never understand this and I see it nearly everyday...

This look originated in prison to indicate one being "available".

Sometimes the pants are also cut to make walking difficult to resemble ankles being chained together just like in prison.

This look evolved into a street look where those wearing it think that they look tough when they're not even aware that the style came from an indication of being "available" to other prisoners.

I agree, the look is pretty ridiculous. I've even seen guys in the hood trying to shoot basketball while constantly trying to hold their pants up. Looks like more work than it's worth.

It's a stupid worn out overused look that has gone on far too long. Lots of streets dudes have yet to get the memo that it's WAY passe' and that it's never been cool.

I think the "Available" thing is an urban myth. At least I've seen it dismissed over and over.

I hate when my fiance asks me to take one.

My girlfriend loves them. Flat-out don't get it.

Taking pictures of food is mine.

What's yours?

If you're making a cookbook or you're a professional restaurant critic, I get it. Otherwise I have no idea what the deal is with that. I also have no idea what amateur food blogs are about.

If I had a dollar for every time I saw a high school or college aged girl walking around in running shorts and boat shoes with their dark socks pulled up I could retire tomorrow. It just looks dumb an I DO. NOT. GET. IT.

Still better than wearing pajama pants to court, Walmart, hospital or funeral home.

Skinny jeans

Skorts

Those stupid scarves girls wear around their neck that's bigger than my curtains.

A few of mine center around greeting cards.

If you're going to a party to celebrate someone's birthday (and let's assume they're not kids) why do you need to bring a birthday card? You're going to actually say the words "Happy Birthday" so why do I need to also have a card saying the same?

We had a new Starbucks built here several years ago...Local coffee house (with no drive through) ran them out of business with better service and a better product.

Local now has 4 locations...but no Starbucks. Rumor is new Kroger may have one.

Sidetrack question for anyone who knows: Are the baristas at Kroger Starbucks kiosks technically considered Kroger employees? The lack of a tip receptacle at the Bardstown location makes me wonder.

I used to go black shoes and black socks back in the day when I would play pick-up ball every day. I feel safe in saying I was the one who got the Vegas/Michigan combo going on WKU's campus in those days.

A card seems unnecessary in this spot unless you've got a gift card/certificate enclosed. Or you just want to find one of those Spencer's-type disgusting/embarrassing ones to mess with them.

You may be correct.

According to snopes it seems to have begun in prison, but not as I had described and has often been falsely passed along, but the sagging look mostly came about by prisoners who were given prison uniforms that were way too big and since you can't have a belt in prison often prisoners are seen forever trying to keep their pants up.

Gagsta Rap artists trying to look tough carried this prison look over to the stage where fans ultimately wanted to emulate it too, and the nutty sensation was born and took hold within the urban core, and though it seems quite ridiculous to most of us, for better, (but IMO for worse), it has made its mark on culture, and IMO for far too long.
