It appears that the media, while trying to damage Trump's chances are actually helping him.:idunno:

A quick check of realclearpolitics.com has Mrs. Clinton with leads in the battleground states of Florida (4.3 points), Ohio (3.0) and Pennsylvania (7.0). Trump neds to win all three states to win in November.

It's also worth noting that the Mediaite article conveniently omits the most recent poll ... CBS/NY Times ... which has Clinton leading nationally 47-41.

I don't know when that poll was released to this written. But in those 4 polls Trump had an advantage in those battleground states listed.

Even in the poll you cite it was a trend in the right way for Trump.

Its also worth noting that Hillary is gonna tank here at the end.

You may be right. Here's another poll, though, that makes me think you're counting your chickens a little too soon:

"A new Fox News Latino poll released Friday shows the likely Democratic standard-bearer has an overwhelming advantage over the presumptive Republican nominee among Latino voters, by a three-to-one margin.

"The survey found 63 percent of registered Latino voters would pull the lever for Hillary Clinton on Election Day, compared to just 23 percent who said they planned to support Donald Trump."

Guess What - the election is held in Mera' .. in my best Earl Pitts voice.

In each of the states you cite, Trump could win handily if a small number of white men decided to vote in each of these states. This was stated by Real Clear Politics commentator on CNN. Why is it that so many Americans do not exercise their right to vote? We have a great country or there would not be so many clamoring to get in, so why does the Silent Majority not vote?

Saw part of Trumps speech at the NRA. The part I caught, his speeches seem to be moving in the direction of logic and persuasion versus rhetoric and generalities. He needs to keep moving in that direction.

I still doubt that he makes it a close race but I'm starting to wonder if turnout could get him elected. I didn't even think that would help a month ago. Lot's of things have to happen to make that a real possibility though.

You're correct. Trump is energizing white men. But he's also alienating female and Hispanic voters. So it's going to take more than a "small number" of extra white voters to win the swing states. Recent stories indicate Hispanics are turning out in large numbers to register to vote, and I can guarantee they're not doing so to vote for Trump.

Hispanics and women will keep Trump in his ivory Tower and far away from Pennsylvania Avenue.

Science did you expect this. Trump closing the others Republicans out as easy as he did and Hillary now struggling to put away a old socialist? Your worst nightmare is much closer than you could ever imagine. Just saying.

Bernie supporters will jump on The Trump Train and get their revenge on Crooked Hillary!
