If you don't like the guy because he has no political experience or speaks his mind and doesn't follow certain political "rules"...fine. Don't forget that this criticism also has come from establishment Republicans, who ran TV ads prior to the Florida primary painting Trump as someone who disrespects females. Sheesh. Sorry. Playing the "misquoted by the media" card doesn't work here. There's no shortage of actual clips or Twitter screen grabs in which Trump lashes out against Hispanics, women, Muslims ... on and on.

Come on, mountain ref. He said there needs to be a ban on Muslims entering this country. He may have softened the rhetoric a bit, but it was obvious the intent. Now whether that means he is racist towards Muslims because of that stance is debatable. Many agree with his position on it, and that is not a universal conservative belief. I agree it is fashionable and easy to say, "Republican guy is racist." The left loves playing that card.

As I've pointed out before, the KKK situations are completely different. Trump was asked point blank in a public setting about Dukes endorsement. Duke is a well known former Senator and presidential candidate (as well as a anti semetic, racist, KKK member). He stumbled over the question (which wasn't so difficult) and didn't give a definitive answer for a a couple days. A grand wizard who no one has ever heard of contacts the media and offers his dubious "endorsement" of Clinton. HRC was never directly asked about the question about the endorsement publicly and ignored it. That guy giving an endorsement to Clinton means as much as me giving an endorsement to Clinton, which is exactly nothing.

I am not sure what comments you are referring to. I hear people say that but then they use some small clip taken out of context to label him....or they say because he called some woman a "pig" he hates all women and views them beneath him. He's not politically correct. He speaks off the cuff...not from some speech that someone else wrote and put on a prompter.

 

AND the republican establishment has been more despicable then the left since the start of the primary. They are scared because Trump doesn't answer to them. They railed him for not saying from the outset that he would sign a pledge supporting the eventual nominee (he eventually did) and then when it looked like he was going to win they all jumped ship. They are hiding behind the same "racist" and "bigot" lines bc they can't come out and say "we don't support trump because he's not our puppet."
