I am running the half marathon Sunday morning and my 26 year old daughter is running the marathon. Pray for no rain as the forecast is very iffy...

I will be cheering my 26 yr old daughter who is doing her first half marathon.

Good for her. The good thing about the Pig half marathon is that while miles 7 and 8 are brutal...uphill through Eden Park, the last three miles are all down hill.

Good luck to all BGPers and their relations who are participating!

I will not be participating in any events.

Thanks for your consideration.

Got a co worker that is doing some package where she runs:

Mile on Friday

5K on Saturday

10K on Saturday

Half on Sunday

She is gonna be hurting.

My lovely lady is doing the same. She calls it 3 way with cheese (although four races). She has been training since January for this weekend. She is determined and ready.

I can barely walk from my car to meet her at the finish line.

The four way is the same races except the marathon replaces the half on Sunday...those folks are nuts:)!!

Just ran the full in Nashville (brutal hilly). First of three fulls I am running in a 5 week span.

WOW! I don't know whether to applaud you or recommend a good therapist for you because you are clearly insane:)!!

In all seriousness, that is impressive! You running the Pig tomorrow then??

Is Nashville more hilly than the Pig?

Umm, no. Not that crazy ;) 3 weeks from today is the next in Fargo.

I've never done the Flying Pig but understand it is challenging as well. People have said the first 10 miles or so are more challenging in Cincy, but Nashville is a more sustaining challenge.

An aquantance of mine was talking about running the Ky Derby Festival Marathon today and turning around and doing the Flying Pig tomorrow. Is that possible. Could I misheard him?

My friend Mark Wehry @CovCathiRadio is one of only 97 that have completed every Flying Pig since its inception.

If you see a guy holding a big pink sign at the point where Eastern Avenue turns down to river Road tomorrow, that'll be me. The look on my face will be the pure joy I'm feeling from eating donuts and holding a sign rather than running in this awful thing.

Is this race now on a different day than it used to be? I seem to recall it being a lot bigger inconvenience when I lived in CVG.
