April 30, 201610 yr Just got swept by the Phillies and routinely bats a guy with an OBP around .250 1st and .300 2nd in front of Harper. Basically just like we thought. And still 15-7...
May 1, 201610 yr Price, Votto, Phillips, Bruce......notice a pattern. And if they hadn't signed any of those players to long term contracts many on this site would have been complained about that as well. When you're a small market team it's a fine line. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
May 2, 201610 yr Broxton deal was a bit much. Ludwick and Cairo, those were stupid as well. Those never even came to mind. Yep a manager is probably only good for 5-6 wins or losses per year. Talent wins out. I think he is one of the managers that costs his team 5 games rather than winning them. He's a freaking dinosaur and hasn't realized that math is your friend.
May 2, 201610 yr Hmmm do the people who say they should have kept Dusty really believe the reds record the last few years would have been much different even if he was here? As someone mentioned above a manager is not going to make to much a difference in the overall win loss record in a season for a team. The only time I see having a good manager where his decisions would be an impact on the overall team and how they finish is once they are in the playoffs.
May 2, 201610 yr Nationals will win the division and lose to whoever wins the wild card, sound familiar?
May 9, 201610 yr The Day After Bryce Was Walked 6 Times, Dusty Has Decided To Keep Zimmerman 4th in the Lineup - Barstool Sports DC guy from Barstool took until May 9th to realize Dusty struggles with making lineups.

May 11, 201610 yr The Day After Bryce Was Walked 6 Times, Dusty Has Decided To Keep Zimmerman 4th in the Lineup - Barstool Sports DC guy from Barstool took until May 9th to realize Dusty struggles with making lineups. I knew it wouldn't take long to see how stubborn the toothpick still is in his lineups. Wait until they start criticizing his throw away lineups on getaway days.
May 11, 201610 yr Zimmerman is back!! I think he had his 3rd hit of the year with Harper on base last night.
June 7, 201610 yr Let's see if he plays Trea Turner in a month. Nope. 3 for 3 and sent back down. Follow up article from Barstool below: Its Time We Talked About Dusty - Barstool Sports Every single talking point we ever covered.
June 7, 201610 yr ^ The Nationals leadoff batters are hitting a blistering .184/.231/.296 this season which is firmly 30th in baseball Never change Dusty. :lol2:
June 7, 201610 yr You guys prefer Price, I guess. Not sure that I do. Price is not the reason they became bad once he took over. In facr Price has barely been able to use his best lineups during the years he has been manager. Granted he is not great either. If Dusty was still here they would not be any better.
