sumoroyal
It just continues to amaze me how bad the Reds run the bases.
sumoroyal
As the announcers have said numerous times this week, "Votto is locked in". Right now he cannot his weight.

HammerTime
They do currently control him thru 2021. One thing is certain, they fleeced Detroit. Big time.
MJAlltheWay24
Am I going to have to post about Suarez after every game? Great week for him. Great week for the Reds. Should've even won Friday's game. Good performances from our young pitching, bats were alive...all with Votto & Mesoraco hitting below .200 currently. All In
Am assuming if the Reds are in first place at the All Star break, Phillips, Bruce and Hamilton will not be going anywhere this year and maybe next?

Good performances from our young pitching, bats were alive...all with Votto & Mesoraco hitting below .200 currently. Votto we know will be fine. Mesoraco on the other hand has basically had one half of a baseball season where he did well at the plate and hit to his potential. He is not someone who I can assume will end up being one of our better hitters. I see him being around .230 most of the year like he has done most of his career.
