March 26, 201610 yr I've never accepted a job where I didn't want at least a day to think about it and talk to my wife. I can't see him accepting that big of a move without doing the same. Sounds like crossed wires to me although I think it's a poor move not to have called them and personally informed them.

Demands of elevating program with 2nd class facilities and 2nd class salaries and perks for assistants is a tough gig. Time for UC to deliver on delayed promises.
