How do you stop Ben Weyer?

Featured Replies

I think Coach Brannen wishes he didn't rescind the offer. Sounds like he had shown a lot of interest in Ben lately.

You really should stop acting like you know what is going on at NKU with John Brannen. You're not even close with that comment. Maybe you should attend a game now and then instead of just making comments in this forum.

Just because he is going to Bellarmine doesnt mean he doesnt have D1 talent, Bellarmine has other kids that could have gone D1 in the past 10 years that decided to play there.

I could tell that by Bellarmine's 100-80 loss to Ferris State the other day.

Did you see their National title team several D1 kids on that team, didnt see Bellarmine this year so not sure how good they are but Weyer can play D1 maybe not be a star but he could contribute at alot of programs.

And what would attending a game do in regards to what I posted?

I mean he is playing D2 but the kid has more than proven he coud play at the D1 level. He has guarded kids going D1 and more than held his own even going back to the Travelers. To me it seems inarguable he could play at that level but reasonable people can disagree without going negative on the young man. Bellarmine got a baller with a killer instinct on the court. That is a great get for them and I can't wait to see him play there.

How do you stop Ben? You don't. You stop the other 4 and let Ben get his. That's really the only remedy.

Guru' date=' Close this thread. It's stupid. You knew what you were doing when you started it, as your silence indicates now that it has gone off the deep end. You've got adults openly bashing kids and programs because of the bash-bait thread you started. Show some class. We know you're a CovCath guy. Your family is all CovCath. We get it. But you don't have to blatantly start a thread trying to bash a program in the midst of a final four run. This is classless and you should be shamed, Guru. Now ban me for speaking the truth. Everyone of the constant posters on here is thinking the same thing.[/quote']

He can't ban you for speaking the truth since it's quite clear (and humorous to CCH fans) that you are not quite up to speed.

He started a thread, singling out a kid who is playing in the final four, knowing full well it would start a flame war. I'm up to speed.

Sure you are It's obvious.

As @theguru always says : "With a spirit that will not die. Go Colonels!"

I think it's a really relevant question, given how versatile this young man is. He can dominate down low (see Trinity) and beyond the arc (see Murray). He can play with his back to the basket and on the wing. You can't let him go to the arc and let your big man sag bc Weyer can hit the three, but he can also drive.

The fans turned this thread not the guru. Just bc some asinine poster says something everyone gets all fired up. That poster is just trying to get you fired up.

I think this thread is a compliment to Ben Weyer.

You really have some issues if you are serious about the guru being a CovCath guy. lol. Some of you take this stuff WAY too seriously. As the Joker said: "Why so serious? Let's put a smile on that face!"

I always though the guru was a Mason County guy myself.

Now THAT is funny.

He started a thread, singling out a kid who is playing in the final four, knowing full well it would start a flame war. I'm up to speed.

If that's the case, why didn't the guru start one up about Pig Williams and Mason County? Is he a Mason County guy? lol
